This Privacy Policy explains what information the RankIQ app ("RankIQ", "we", "us") collects from Shopify merchants who install it, how we use that information, and the choices you have. By installing or using RankIQ you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
RankIQ is an SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) app for Shopify stores, provided by Orbit Infinite Tech. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at Support@orbitinfinite.com.
2. Information we collect
When you install RankIQ and grant it access, we access and process the following store data through the Shopify Admin API:

We do not collect or store your customers' personal information (names, emails, addresses, or order data). RankIQ works with your store's catalog and SEO metadata, not your customer records.
3. How we use information
- To scan your store and calculate SEO and AEO readiness scores.
- To generate and apply SEO metadata, image alt text, and structured data.
- To generate your llms.txt, agents.md, and llms-full.txt files and, if you enable it, serve them on your storefront domain.
- To display keyword and search-performance reporting when you connect Google Search Console.
- To provide, maintain, and improve the app and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-party services
RankIQ shares data with the following service providers only as needed to operate the app:

| Google (Search Console & PageSpeed Insights APIs) | To retrieve your search performance (if connected) and page-speed scores. Your store URL is sent to Google to run these checks. |
If you connect Google Search Console, we store the access tokens Google provides so we can fetch your data on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time from within the app.
5. Data storage & retention
Your settings and cached data are stored in a secured database hosted on Railway. We retain this data for as long as RankIQ is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, or on a verified deletion request, we delete your store's data.
6. GDPR & data requests
RankIQ complies with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. When Shopify notifies us of a data request, customer-redaction, or shop-redaction event, we respond accordingly. Because RankIQ does not store customer personal data, customer data-request and redaction events return no customer information; shop-redaction results in deletion of your store's stored data.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing Support@orbitinfinite.com.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access tokens are stored securely. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of RankIQ after changes constitutes acceptance.
